Well yeah, but I play at a store that frowns on "Unofficial Commanders" that do good in practice.

I REALLY wish the Epic spells were Arcane.
Possibly would have made them playable in standard.

Enduring Ideal is plenty playable but the others are a bit... bad

I don't think Enduring Ideal was ever a standard deck. It WAS an extended deck, back when extended was a thing, and it's a pretty hilarious one at that.
