Like 10 minutes. I wrote up the 12th day first, then copied it 11 times and deleted the appropriate lines going up.

Carrying on a tradition, though a bit late this year. The words all change because, well it's a new year.

Twas the week before Grixmas, when all through the plane
Minion Moraff you're late! Lord Bolas, I can explain!
The world has gone crazy, from from all of the deaths this year,
I fear that this time the human race lacks anything more to fear.

Players of Commander are still barricaded in their homes,
But they're hardened and weathered, and stocked up on bottle gnomes.
Pet cards and foils have been exchanged, sorted and stored,
This year they are truly ready to win, my Overlord.

So this year, I thought, what could be the harm?
Perhaps this time, we wait and not cause any alarm.
Diabolical in nature their imagination will strike,
While they wait for the Horde, the horror will be dreamlike.

They'll think of the Kaladesh, and how peaceful it seems,
Waiting for disaster, the madness will cause screams!
We'll send Tezzeret ahead, to start all of our plans,
The deviousness will start by putting inventions in hands.

The fair will start with spirits in high hopes,
And then we'll drag them in with plot hooks and ropes.
We'll hint at an invasion or possibly worse!
Teleportation, to bring in Phyrexians of course!

They'll be on high alert, the panic will set in,
Maybe for added effect, a new type of Djinn!
And forget about goblins, we'll have Gremlins instead!
Have you not seen the movie? Those guys cause dread.

We have to get creative, this year could be the best.
But in order to do that, we have to let them rest.
A false sense of security, is what our plans all need,
So instead of marching forward, we wait to fill our greed.

So Moraff, you say this time we hold off the attack?
Mortal you overstep, telling me how to act.
I'm an Elder Dragon, and a Planeswalker too!
Where do you get off telling me what to do?

I cause fear when mortals see my image.
The terror I strike is a wine of pure vintage.
I left you to plan, and to journal the carnage,
And instead you're late, with this pile of garbage?

An example must be made, so a flaying there'll be.
It'll happen off camera, as this poem's PG.
You'll experience pain for sparing your friends,
And it'll be another year before my plans can begin.

Then the Overlord Bolas, arose with his wings spread across,
Content in his feeling, that he proved he was my boss.
He then Planeswalked to Amonkhet, after my body was revived.
Merry Grixmas Human race, this year we've survived.

My Grixmas arrived the day we went out of town so I was just now able to open it since we are finally back home. Thanks so much Willbender I'm excited for my new spiders to add to the collection, fun alters, signed revised Giant Spider, and a festive Coke.

I was going to blank the drake foils to make Talrand tokens but i ended up with the wrong solvent (nail polish remover as opposed to pure acetone) so it wasn't working and i gave up. Heh.

Girlfriend and i did 2 dragons each.

Dragon Shadow, nice! Altered Assault Formation looks cool too, my first reaction was "cool, art that fits the mechanic of the card". But I guess I had Dragon Wings on my mind, because it doesn't grant flying.
