My first attempt of a green combo deck, I confess, was inspired by Joz (thanks!) and revolved around Azusa, Lost but Seeking (Susi), Cloudstone Curio, Aluren and some centillions of landfall triggers. At some point it became a little bit boring, so I sent Susi home for a while. Last night she returned and brought her old friend Dosan the Falling Leaf. In my opinion he's the perfect general for such a green menace, both in two-player matches and FFA rounds. A) he can shut down Disruption (except for the occasional Decree of Silence and similar things) B) apart from that, a City of Solitude with legs doesn't really look threatening
What fantastic Combo in mono green does he speak of, you may ask - actually, there's no *combo* at all, but I'll show you the list and certainly you can guess what I'm up to.
These two are possible replacement generals - If you feel more like beating face, you might want to try Thrun instead. Maybe I'll even replace Azusa with some other card... the majority of my land tutors put them directly onto the field, so I don't often have lands in hand. I don't even have a Wasteland in there.
Just find Primal Surge and your deck onto the battlefield, but beware of etb-Triggers (Carven Caryatid and Wall of Blossoms can kill you!) Have your hasty Sliver army make tons of mana and charge up Helix Pinnacle... or just beat face with a little help from DJ 'Hoof.
I could replace the Sliver package (Hivestone, Reflex, Manaweft and Virulent) with Citanul Hierophant and that way free up more slots... but I just love slivers.

Don't forget Concordant Crossroads to give all your dudes haste once you drop your deck onto the field.
edit to add: I guess that's why you have the Memorial. Reading is hard.
