My pleasure - Joyeux Nöel Pierre! Not everyone's into foreign stuff, but I did want there to be at least one German card in there as I live in Berlin these days. And well... I figured a Quebecois wouldn't have any problems understanding a Marais enneigé!

Have a great holiday and fun with the cards. Merry Grixis! :)

This makes me incredibly sad... and happy. Sad because I didn't get on here in time to join in the gift-giving... and happy for everyone else who is passing around the presents.

Same thing here. It is cool seeing everything people are getting. The suspense of my package arriving to the other person is killing me though.

Danke!
Your multilingual gift is even better since I'm a translator (F-E, know a bit of Spanish and my German is limited to football players and so on, because of which I've lost a fair bit in bets against...I never learn!) and thus love cards in non-standard printings. SO cool, thanks a lot!

Sent mine off yesterday. However, stupid me forgot to put the note I wrote in!

I'll keep my eye on the tracking status and send a PM when I see it arrive.

Forget the Bolas man, just send the packs my way. It'll save you $20. No problem

Because someone is showing me an act of kindness and offered to do something for free, I'm sending them a little something extra.

I don't think anyone is going to be disappointed with what they get, call it a hunch.

I think there will be some 'grass is greener' feelings going on, especially if there's custom alters floating around, but what is Grixis all about if not 'Mine is good, but yours is pretty sweet too!'?

If you're into the finance side of things, look me up in the Casual Fridays column on the MTGPrice Blog.

Enjoy!

I hope that everyone is satisfied with their gifts.

I said numerous times and tried to set the expectations that if you get a sharpied crystal ball it wont be the end of the world and it is actually a fairly cool card, I use it in conjunction with Sensei's Dradle (I really need to alter one to be a Dradle to celebrate my Jewish heritage), Scroll Rack, or just alone to help me figure out what I want. But that is looking at the bright side of things.

Its EDH and I think a fun homemade alter from someone is a perfectly acceptable reason to build an entire EDH deck around. I know that I'm going to probably end up doing that, and if I'm in someone's neck of the wood here I'll stop by their store and beat him with my Crystal Ball/Miracle deck. Or if I get something super cool like full set of the homeland Minotaurs and a didgeridoo then I'm making a tribal Kazull mono-red deck.

For those people that already received their gifts, are there any that you are specifically interested in using in your EDH games and what makes that the cream of the crop?

Finally got my package! Thanks to TheEvilCliff for some sweet cards. I asked for anything EDH related because I could fit it into any of my 23 decks, and he really delivered. He got me a ton of cards that are autographed by their artists. These will all easily swap into existing decks.

Image

Praetor's Counsel hops right into Stonebrow.
Mimic Vat slots nicely into Kresh.
Rhystic Study drops into Edric.
Eternal Witness drops into everything.

Image

Sun Titan (FOIL!) drops right into my Mayael deck.
Soulless One (FOIL!) drops right into Grimgrin.
Darksteel Ingot fits into just about any of the decks.
Simic Sky Swallower fits into my revamped Edric deck or Damia.. speaking of which...

Image

How sweet is this!! I'm happily replacing my boring regular Damia and sleeving this in the front spot.

Thanks so much TheEvilCliff!!! These were all amazing. Thanks!!

Just put mine together and it's going in the mailbox tomorrow.

This has me stoked!

Now the funny bit will be if I get cards I've sent...

I'm curious to hear the end of this sentence now that I've seen the cards. Great selection man, it was perfect.
