We could just say you can only lose by commander damage. That would mean only the life gain/life pay deck would have to track their life...

I think you're on the right track there. Tracking life and commander damage isn't any different than normal, it just means that which one is more important is flip-flopped.

What do you all think about using Daxos the Returned as the enchantment voltron? It's still on theme, even though his ability is not as dangerous as normal. The ability to get a horde of blockers could be pretty helpful.

I really want to run a solid black and white deck, and the two new commanders are leading the pack.

Who do you think for the enchantment deck or the equipment deck?

Sakashima the Impostor might be fun. Run clone/theft effects.

Dakkon is a good choice for this challenge. You get all of the classic Esper control of removal and counterspells to disrupt your opponents and can swoop in with a general that can 2-shot a player.

Dakkon would actually make a pretty decent equipment commander.

You have Stoneforge Mystic and the white equipment suite.
Also Sword of the Animist seems really good with him.
