The Azusa lists that I have seen here have never truly been to my liking, as I envisioned building around Azusa should naturally cause the deck to play similarly to turboland, not simply green acceleration. I started with a land base of every good utility land I could think of from recent sets and legacy 43 land. What I came up with was a very strong mana denial strategy which I complimented with cards like loam/crucible, smokestack/sphere, and bomb creatures like the Eldrazi titans/Terastodon. This deck is very powerful, and in 1v1 the mana denial strategy often too consistent and overwhelming for my opponents to put up a real threat. In multiplayer games this usually is among the top two performing decks, sometimes attracting too much attention to itself with cards like Tabernacle and ilk.

Edit: Updated list as of 4/28/2011

Looks like green acceleration to me. What mana denial are you talking about? The only cards in your deck that aren't in every Azusa deck are Smokestack, Sphere of Resistance, and Tabernacle. They're fine inclusions, but I don't see how the three of them make your deck a bold new strategy.

Is Amulet of Vigor just for Primeval Titan and Scapeshift? So you can Maze of Ith or Eye of Ugin right away? If that's the case, Sylvan Scrying is probably better.

There's a lot of pretty standard tech for Azusa decks that seems to be missing. Here's a few off the top of my head:

Natural Order to find Primeval Titan. You can sac Azusa once you've run out your lands, or you can sac...

Dryad Arbor Why not, right? It also lets you go broken with....

Cloudstone Curio - so that you can use all your land drops to bounce other lands, or your dryad arbor to bounce Azusa and get MORE land drops. Aluren lets you go infinite with land drops here.

Storm Cauldron is pretty standard. You can play under a Cauldron, most other decks can't.

here are some other cards that typically make the cut that aren't here:

Deserted Temple
Glacial Chasm/Sunstone/Constant Mists
Scrying Sheets - if you have the excess mana
Gaea's Touch
Rites of Flourishing
Regal Force - combos with Rampaging Baloth or something similar to draw a lot more cards
Slippery Karst
Blasted Landscape

Some people play a lot more copies of things like Summoner's Pact, Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Tutor to help find your bombs since so much of the deck is land.

There are some pretty lackluster slots here that are being taken up in:

Grazing Gladeheart
Panglacial Wurm
Sphere of Resistance
Amulet of Vigor
Scapeshift
Search for Tomorrows
Rishadan Port
Treetop Village

Honestly though, other than 4 or 5 cards that are sort of mana-denial, this seems like a pretty standard Azusa list that's missing a couple of techy cards.

I guess its not, it was just the last time I looked for Azusa Edh i came up with 4 or 5 decks that had 40 something lands with no utility lands and just used it to power out fat.

So i'm glad I put my list up here. These were the first quick changes that I made:
-Panglacial Wurm
-Treetop Village
-Amulet of Vigor
-Sphere of resistance
+Steel Hellkite
+Deserted Temple
+Memory jar
+Constant Mists

Plow Under and Stunted Growth should be in any self-respecting denial deck :)

Those are more 1v1, plus I already mentioned Plow Under. I run it in my not-really-sideboard-kind-of where I plan to switch it in for duels.

What does everyone think about Mishra's Helix? Add seedborn muse for shenanigans. Also, could anyone link me to other Azusa decks so I can get some other ideas?

Yes, essentially it is because the high landcount never really leaves me wanting mana. The only reason i would play mana reflection would be to go infinite with vault.

I don't know how it would well it would play in Azusa, but have you considered Ritual of Subdual?
MTGSalvation has a lot of nice lists: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/forumdisplay.php?f=377

I've updated this deck quite a bit and have done extremely well with it locally, currently second place in my EDH league and won a tournament. The best play I have been doing lately is avenger with cradle (makes T&N really good) and I feel the raw power of things like praetors counsel and sundering titan are superior to what I was running before

+ Winding Canyons
+ Scrying sheets
+ Gaea's Cradle
+ Praetor's Counsel
+ Mana crypt
+ Avenger of Zendikar
+ Mind's Eye
+ Constant Mists
+ Genesis Wave
+ Deserted Temple
+ Sundering Titan

- Rishadan Port
- Treetop Village
- 1 Snow-covered Forest
- Panglacial Wurm
- Amulet of vigor
- Sphere of Resistance
- Search for Tomorrow
- Burgeoning
- Desert Twister
- Scapeshift
- Expedition Map

Vorinclex is definitely going in the list, and i want to put in Beast within... I just have to find the right spots for them.

First, some quick changes i have made, as Realms uncharted is strictly better than gaea's bounty and homeward path gives us a powerful tool to compliment our utility toolbox.

+ realms uncharted
+ homeward path

- gaea's bounty
- scrying sheets

Id like to discuss rishadan port's role in edh and especially in this archetype. To achieve the same effect of a strip mine you must devote one mana per turn and it cannot be used to neuter more than one land, but it gives you a variety of options as it can turn into mana after being used to tap and can rotate to target the player who is causing the most harm. Im not saying its better than strip mine, but i definately think it warrants an inclusion. What does everyone else think?

Edit:
+ Rishadan Port
+ Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger
+ Beast Within

- Mishra's Factory
- Woodfall Primus
- Krosan Grip
