Definately would add force of will, even with so little blue card's it is worth it! also a mana crypt couldn't hurt. Just my thought's

If you are going to use Serra's Sanctum then I would suggest putting Enchanted Evening in your deck as well. That's a *lot* of mana you'll be getting each turn. Having everything on the board become an enchantment also discourages your opponent(s) from using their enchantment board-sweeping cards. I run both of those cards in my Kangee deck so I can give him a lot of feather counters.

Since I'm making recommendations based on what I run, you may also look into using Jotun Owl Keeper. Birds, birds, birds!! :)

There is also a trick to go infinite bird tokens with Emeria Angel. Run Intruder Alarm, Walking Atlas, and Trade Routes. Tap a land to pay for the Trade Routes and select itself to be returned to your hand. Put that land into play using Walking Atlas which triggers Emeria Angel. When the bird token comes into play it will untap Walking Atlas and you can repeat the process as many times as you like. Since you're also running Serra's Blessing you won't have to worry about tapping to attack (the usual drawback of using Intruder Alarm).

Other recommendations:
- Konda's Banner
+ Nim Deathmantle

Skullclamp and Austere Command Would be great.

I also suggest making Kangee, Aerie Keeper your general if you play multiplayer because Augustine gonna bring hate.

I started building a deck very similar to this today. Consider Dovescape. Great to drop after you're already set up, as your bird tokens will be bigger than theirs, and Dovescape protects itself.

Consider Radiant, Archangel as she gets very big, Soulcatcher for the same reason, and Archon of Redemption for life gain.

Dovescape + Kangee, Aerie Keeper isn't really the best combo in my opinion. It would give power to your opponents as well. It does stop wrath effects though... maybe I'll try to work it out. Wrath is what I worry about most in my Kangee deck.

I don't have a very high opinion of Kangee in general. There are two or three other cards that pump Birds (or just run one of many white enchantments that pump your creatures) and Kangee is ungodly expensive.

They probably aren't playing Kangee right then. He is a late-game general after board position is nominal. Getting the board sticky with birds/tokens and then summon him in is the way to go. As the EDH rules page mentions, an EDH deck should function without a general anyways.

Most games I've played with Kangee I get him out with 3-5 tokens. Even that amount it pretty potent with the right cards in play (Emeria Angel + Archon of Redemption).

I got him out with 40 feather counters the other night using Enchanted Evening, Serra's Sanctum and Trade Routes. Now that I realize that combo is in my deck, I am going to start tutoring for it more often (keeping enough counterspells handy for any shennanigans).

How does Trade Routes help that combo?

Tap Serra's Sanctum for 20+ mana (equal to the number of permanents I have, as everything is an enchantment from Enchanted Evening), pay one of that mana to return Serra's to my hand using Trade Routes' first ability, play Serra's as a land for the turn and tap it for 20+ mana again, then bring Kangee into play with a ton of counters on him!

Come to think of it.... I should put a Doubling Cube in my deck.

Minamo, School at Water's Edge would work better.

Personally I'd use Isperia the Inscrutable as my general for a bird deck.

Better? Not necessarily, but it sure looks good for adding to the combo

I use Trade Routes for land evasion as well. Just in case someone wants to blow up the board with Armageddon or the like.

Fun deck!

You run some "bad"birds but seems to get away with that lovely!
Did you ever play pride of the clouds?
Distant melodies or what is the name of the morningtide draw a card for each creature of the chosen type card.

Did you run gather.wizards.com on bird?

You need to put a pride of the clouds in your deck. It looks like your deck just rolls overs and dies to wrath effects. the pride will at least give you a creature a turn and it has great synergy with skullclamp, something else you need to add. Also I suggest you switch generals, the arbiter isn't a threat on most boards, he is just an annoyance. may I suggest Hanna, Ship's Navigator with all your enchantments it will give you some good recursion, something your deck is missing.

1. I did add Enchanted Evening to go with the Serra's Sanctum!
2. Nice combo using the Emeria Angel with Intruder Alarm, Walking Atlas, and Trade Routes. Probably going to be hard to pull off a 4-card combo in a EDH/Commander deck though.
3. I'll take a look at the Nim Deathmantle versus Konda's Banner.
