This is your basic Rhys token deck, nothing new there. For the most part it runs pretty well, but sometimes I'll get stuck with no token producers or no draw to get to the token producers which kind of sucks. Its not the most refined decklist available and thats why I'm coming here hoping to get some advice. Oversoul of Dusk is a Unicorn, so if I could I would love to avoid cutting it. A card I might look to add is Marshal's Anthem if anyone has any experience with this card I would love to hear it. I'm also not sure if I want ramp or not, Primeval Titan and Perilous Forays are pretty decent. Anyway just looking for advice, thanks in advance.

P.S. Joz, Mind's Eye is already in.

Updates

- Privileged Position
- Arashi, the Sky Asunder
- Snow-Covered Plains
+ Wolfbriar Elemental
+ Winding Canyons
+ Marshal's Anthem

Rhys + Tokens + Slivers + Hivestone = ...
NASTY combination.

I did it with Teneb an added a little black (only for tutors) and its nasty even without tutoring.

Go go go!

Tokens + Slivers = Shenanagins.

Theres a guy who has sliver queen as a general, so I dont want to make him any stronger. He also has mana echoes, thats why theres so much removal. Well, and the kid who has a voltron setup. What slivers were you thinking of BTW?

Hivestone could be funny as hell though. What would you suggest cutting?

I dont have the Scars Elspeth, but I will look into the overrun elf. Thanks.

Edit: I'm also trying to find room for Pentavus. He looks like he could be fun.

Because Rhys is the only elf (other than Mirror Entity) in the entire deck?

For the most part Rhys gets to make 2-3 tokens tops before everything dies, the deck relies on things like Ant Queen and EoT Decree of Justice for the massive amounts of tokens. Having a card that doesnt work unless Rhys was left alone seems like a bad idea and waiting for Mirror Entity to show up just so it works is also bad. It seems more of a win more card that wont work if you have nothing on the field and thats when I would need the tokens the most.

Hi,

nice deck. Play Rhys too :) . You said you have sometimes problems to draw in the important stuff or your deck. Maybe you should consider Overwhelming Instinct. I run it in my version and it always draws me a bunch of cards.

That card looks amazing, have any suggestions for cuts?

Not sure.....Maybe something like Whispersilk...cause you try to win with your tokens and hence need not really to protect single creatures (except for your general). But as I said..not sure 'bout that one...would just be my approach. I'm sure many of you guys will tell me I'm crazy to cut a protective equip :D

Updated

- Privileged Position
- Arashi, the Sky Asunder
- Snow-Covered Plains
+ Wolfbriar Elemental
+ Winding Canyons
+ Marshal's Anthem

Havent gotten to use the anthem yet, but wolfbriar kicks ten kinds of ass. Kicked him 9 times forcing a wrath, bounced him with Stonecloaker in response, then played him again on my turn kicked 11 times forcing another wrath. Two wraths for two cards seems like a good trade to me. Figured winding canyons would be a good card plopping down either a token maker EoT or Vigor in response to some earthquake or Ashling effect.
