Less cards that heal you and more creatures to beat face with!
Cho-Manno, Revolutionary is redundent IMO
Akroma's Memorial would be good here too
edit:twilight shepherd is another good card for this deck

I like the idea of Akroma's Memorial and will have to find some room for it. I like the amount of life gain i have in here, so that is staying, and i had the Twilight Sheppard in for a while but found it wasn't what i wanted. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey, I like the decklist! Kinda weird that you posted this up right when I just changed my general from rune-tail to Eight-and-a-Half-Tails. Speaking of which, why isn't Eight-and-a-Half-Tails in!? You may also want to consider using Eight-and-a-Half-Tails as your general since it helps protect your everything. Obviously you lose the synergy with pariah and similar, but it's worth considering.

If you want to keep rune-tail, as a general I will just name a few sweet cards I enjoy using with him. Their power levels aren't that great, and my deck mostly relied on storm herd, test of endurance, and similar to win, so it was straight up life gain/prevention effects. Nevertheless I am sure these cards might be ones you can consider, or possibly already have.

Entangler
greater auramancy
replenish
weathered bodyguards
wall of glare one of my favorite 2nd turn drops with the deck.
cradle of vitality insane with the beacon or life linkers
beacon of immortality
endless horizons Essentially same as land tax, I have had good experiences with this card.
righteous aura doesn't target, and isn't limited to any specific colors.
return to dust so so good
final judgment XD I like keeping graveyard shenanigans down
nuisance engine This card is good on its own, but with your general it's a beast!, no one can get through an army of 0/1's!
faiths fetters good all around "removal"
umezawa's jitte gains life if you need it, more importantly keeps creatures under control
auratouched mage grab whatever aura is appropriate for the situation. Perhaps 6 mana for a 13/13 trample annihilator 2 sounds good (eldrazi conscription)? Or maybe you need to fish pariah out of your deck. Could also work in a weird way if you want to get prison term onto the field.
winds of rath not bad to keep your pariah on the field and any pacifism effects on generals.
martial coup wipes board and gives you 1/1 soldiers that people can't kill.
weathered wayfarer

Those are the main ones that come to mind. Your deck was/is probably better than my own Rune-tail deck. I always get in trouble with building too much synergy into a deck and not enough "win."

Oh I also have used, Mind's eye, seer's sundial, and crystal ball to good effect, if you feel you need more draw/dig.

Ill be adding a Akroma's Memorial as soon as i get one and the same goes for Weathered Wayfairer. The other enchantments and such really are not the way im going with this one, so the searching and such just really doesn't fit the list i was going for. Although I love the wall of glare idea! Ill probably be changing out the Moth later today for it. And as soon as i have one ill be putting in Martial Coup for an additional board wipe. No idea what i can remove, the list is getting really tight at this point.

Thanks for the input!

The idea of you taking out the moth saddens me. Also you HAVE to swap disenchant for its big brother Return to dust. the exile effect is super nice, and the ability to play it at sorcery speed to take out two permanents is icing on the cake.

eight-and-a-half tails could swap in for Mother of Runes

did you consider adding fireshrieker in place of sword of body and mind?

austere command is another good choice for a board sweeper in place of day of judgement

If you're looking for more space I would take out Cho-Manno, Revolutionary since it's usually going to be redundant and not in a good way.

Made some changes to the list, Added Adarkar Valkyrie, Wall of Hope, and Akroma's Memorial. As soon as i can track down an Austere Command that will be going in also!

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok, made a few new changes.

Changed out Sword of Body and Mind for Nim Deathmantle and ill be dropping in return to dust soon.

Also, subbed Goldenglow Moth back in.

Played over the weekend and managed to lock down a 4 player game. Had a team up of Wrexial and Ashling working together to try and kill me, it was great!

Veteran Bodyguard + your general as an aura makes you nearly invincible since redirection even supercedes general damage.

weathered bodyguards is waay better than veteran bodyguard. It's all about the surprise factor, plus you throw in Zoetic Cavern to keep them guessing. Zoetic Cavern goes great in mono colored decks since you aren't strapped for certain types of mana. This puppy allows you to get a chump blocker, or gives you that one more mana you needed. People sometimes throw their removal away while you simply smile and unmorph it.

I made a concept deck for rune-Tail a while back, but haven't built it yet. I went with an all-vigilance theme to maximize the damage prevention.

Some thoughts:

Wave of Reckoning
Caged Sun
Gauntlet of Power
Leonin Sun Standard
Angel's Trumpet
Absolute Grace
Absolute Law
Blinding Light great move w/Sunblast Angel
Shattered Angel
Mass Calcify
Ghostway
Aven Mindcensor
Grand Abolisher

I first want to chime in about how much fun this deck and your general's theme looks like to play! (Veteran Bodyguard, Weathered Bodyguards, etc.)

- I like a lot of Dr G's recommendations about vigilince and the possibly one-sided board wipe (Wave of Reckoning along with the mana doublers. Interesting ideas.

- I have never played mono white so my knowledge will be quite rough; however, I see a few cards in the deck that could be replaced with creatures to increase the synergy with your general.

- Ghostly Prison
- Norn's Annex

Great cards but I feel that you should try to stuff this deck full with creatures as best as you can and these are like double or triple insurance. One insurance plan is enough. I like Windborn Muse better than these because it's a creature and can get the general's buff. Replace with whatever creatures fits your heart's desire.

- Two other cards are on the right path (card advantage) but I feel should be replaced with actual card advantage options.

- Font of Mythos ---> Mind's Eye
- Scroll Rack -------> Survival Cache

Font of Mythos does not create advantage for yourself, in fact, it gives advantage to your opponents because they are first to get the advantage. Scroll Rack nets you 0 cards also.

Just some recommendations, again really cool deck!
