This deck was Vorosh for about the last two years...but Damia seemed like such a better fit for the control strategy I was going for. I make little tweaks to the list here and there, but I try to keep this list as competitive as possible. This is my most cutthroat deck, although I am trying to keep infinite combos out of the mix.

If you need more ramping I'd go with Kodama's Reach. Also Liliana Vess reusable tutor, can hand hate and if you pull off an ult flat out wins you the game. I think she could work her way into your deck. Also you are in black you may want to pick up some spot removal.

wouldn't be all that hard to do a bit more with your land

life from the loam - you're already running strip mine / searches ( over brainstorm )
intuition - over fact of fiction
realms uncharted -

then the best land fall card evar ! shapeshift.

academy ruins ?

Academy Ruins doesn't really do too much for me and I'd rather limit the colorless lands for the most part. Volrath's Stronghold works better.

Loam has bounced in and out of the list, but I'll work it in again. Same with Vess.

Love the Scapeshift idea. I'll have to see if I can pick one up.

What are peoples' thoughts on Withered Wretch vs. Nezumi Graverobber?

I'd like to have both, in my opinion. Withered Wretch helps you because its activation cost is cheaper, and Nezumi Graverobber gives you a late game advantage. Redundancy is good.

I have never seen Nezumi Graverobber flip except in the early game.

Graverobber flips are easy in a lot of groups, it just depends on the yard hate. Around here, it is not uncommon for certain, cough..Sharum, cough..Teneb, decks to get bogged or crypted 3 to 4 times in a single game, and then you just catch them before they refill it much.

Post subject:  Re: The continuing sage of Vorosh, the Hunter

Made some massive updates to this list, since the direction of the deck has evolved over time. Pretty much a strong control deck now, with focus on Suvival/CIP abuse and a few toys with Necrotic Ooze.

My primary debate right now is Sakashima vs. Morphling. Sakashima gives me another copy effect to target a good creature in play, while Morphling lets me do some fun stuff with Ooze and some of the other activated abilities (namely Arcanis/Avatar of Woe). I'm also considering Ertai, Wizard Adept in that package as well. He would likely replace venser if I cut Sakashima for Morphling.

Secondary debate is Oona vs. Geth, Lord of the Vault. Both are strong mana sinks that help finish off the game, even if it's in slightly different ways. I guess the bigger question is do people hate have their yard picked over and deck milled more than they hate just having parts of their deck exiled.

Third up is Oversold Cemetery vs. Sword of Light and Shadow. Both have conditions that must be met. I was running both, but I needed the space and Cemetery wins for now (since I have a foil...deciding factor :)).

Jace has been in and out, but I've decided to just bench him in this current version. He never did more than brainstorm for me 1-2 times before someone killed him. He's just not as effective in multiplayer.

I've never seen my Nezumi Graverobbers live long enough to flip :P

I saw someone waste an entire Decree of Pain on my single creature (also; the single creature in play.)

I conceded on the spot since I couldn't stop laughing.
