Hello, as you can see, this deck is made around the player taking and/or cloning my opponents' things. I need help in not only making it more competitive, but fixing the mana base. 35 lands is not enough. A card that needs to be included, just no idea what to cut is Thousand-Year Elixir. I'm not worried about dollar cost, so any suggestions is appreciated.

Also, seriously considering cutting Venser, not sure though. Another card I considered is Mind Over Matter, maybe include the combo with Temple Bell? Thought about adding Palinchron, even if I do not have Deadeye out on the field, I can clone him, and can be used with the clones, since they are cheaper than seven I would have "infinite" that way.

Thanks for the help!

Looks good. I have looked at lists like this before, and often they don't have enough non-clones, but your deck has a good mix of on theme cards and cards that do stuff on their own. Normally I would suggest cutting some on theme stuff to make room, but you seem to have a good mix. I would cut a tutor or two from the deck. Probably fabricate, as it can only look for 7 cards, and most of your other tutors can look for artifacts.

Sword of the Paruns or Umbral Mantle would allow rapid-fire use of Merieke's ability.

Aura of Dominion is another one in that vein. It is decently mean with Merieke, but you have Intruder Alarm already so I don't think that will be a huge concern.

This should depend entirely on how your group feels about comboing out.

For cuts, I would suggest dropping some of the tutoring (Fabricate, Enlightened, and Mystical particularly), Reality Spasm, Captain of the Mists, and Roil Elemental.

What about Illusionist's Bracers instead of (or in addition to) Rings? No mana cost to activate, though it is one creature only.

Hi guys, just thought I would update: the suggestions you guys have provided are great! I really do appreciate it. I agree that Reality Spasm, Roil Elemental, Captain of the Mists, and Fabricate are all weak cards. So thank you for that.

For enlightened tutor and mystical tutor, I need a bit more convincing to remove, the reason? Enlightened tutor can grab me Intruder Alarm, and some of the other game changers. Mystical tutor can grab me that much needed board wipe, or even better: Bribery or Blatant Thievery.

Sorry for not adding tags, but I'm short on time, and on mobile. I will once I get back home.

What are your thoughts on the mana base?

You already have Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, and Liliana Vess to tutor up anything you could want. Enlightened and Mystical also have the downside of costing a card to use since they don't put the spell you're searching directly into your hand. And I feel like having 4 or 5 tutors in your deck will make the deck feel repetitive and boring sooner. That is pure opinion, though.

Seems like the answer is more lands. Fetches if you have them since they will fix 2 colors of your choice. Reflecting Pool is also pretty sweet, since you have a lot of things that take 2 mana of the same color. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth will help with things like Grave Pact that are really black intensive, maybe even cutting a basic swamp for it.
