So I've wanted to make an decent land based deck for a while. Part of the flavour of the Temur clan is that they use the mountainous terrain of their home to gain advantages in combat.
Surrak Dragonclaw's not the perfect commander mechanically for such a deck, but he makes possibly the least obnoxious commander in Temur and has some fun quirks in deck building. Be it through summonings elementals, casting spells of frigid cold within the desert or simply the Temur Landslide, the clan's shamans and tacticians know how to use the terrain better than any other clan.
For this deck, money is no object, especially for thematic cards, as I want to make the best deck possible.
Commander: Surrak Dragonclaw42
LandSnow-Covered Forest x9 - Running a snow mana base has little downside to it.
Snow-Covered Mountain x9 - But despite being heavily in all 3 colours, I want to play up the snow.
Snow-Covered Island x9 - So I'll need to justify my abundance of basics.
Highland Weald - The more snow the better.
Scrying Sheets - Possibly the biggest advantage to using snow mana.
Wooded Foothills - The solution is fetches.
Misty Rainforest - So I'm going to play as many fetches as possible.
Scalding Tarn - And this gives me an idea for the second theme.
Bant PanoramaEsper Panorama - aka island
Grixis Panorama- The panoramas are the second weakest "fetch" lands.
Jund Panorama - But they do their job well, especially when your basics matter.
Naya PanoramaEvolving Wilds - They're still awesome.
Terramorphic ExpanseMountain Valley - I'm tempted to say it's worse than Jund Panorama.
Thawing Glaciers - Without
twiddles I dislike it, but in the name of flavour!
Frontier Bivouac - The art has snow, so I'll roll with it.
Taiga - Something fun to fetch, plus the art has snow and it's my favourite dual.

Snow love!Rimescale Dragon - What ISN'T Temur about this card?
Rimefeather Owl - A big dumb flier that plays well with Rimescale Dragon.
Rimewind Cryomancer - Countering activated abilities can be pretty good.
Into the North - Highland Weald.
Heidar, Rimewind Master - Bounce the biggest threat every turn seems decent.
17
Land Love!Hedron Crab - Nothing ruins a self-milling deck's day more than 36 more cards off the top.
Scute Mob - Rule 781.
Lotus Cobra - Nothing beats even more mana.
Vinelasher Kudzu - Gets big fast, espcially on-curve.
Courser of Kruphix - Landfall, landfind and top card abuse. What's not to love?
Grazing Gladehart - Land ramp deck all-star.
Tideforce Elemental - The fun way to twiddle.
Seer's Sundial - For that little bit of card draw I'm not sure I need.
Primeval Bounty - Definitely only playing it for the 3 life per land.
Coiling OracleDreamscape Artist - Harrow on a stick.
Sakura-Tribe ElderOracle of Mul DayaExplorationExplorer's ScopeKiora, the Crashing Wave - She probably won't ultimate, but her bubble helps keep her on the table.
Rings of Brighthearth - Copying Saccy elder, fetches and Dreamscape artist for awesome effect.

Massive bombs at 6 or so mana that someone should probably counterRampaging Baloths - While the big beast has trample, the tokens don't, it still gets better with Surrak.
Roil Elemental - What's worse than all your things stolen? Them having trample too.
Ruric Thar, the Unbowed - Very difficult to avoid the punch in the face at this point.
Draining Whelk - Winning a counter war or almost definitely countering that thing.
Dragon Broodmother - The Temur care for family after all.
Hydra Broodmaster - Even ones raised by a hydra single father.
Xenagos, God of revels - Surprisingly effective with Surrak.
Prophet of KruphixBane of Progress - Murdering artifact decks horrifically and without mercy.
Avenger of Zendikar - Somehow it only thrives in the winter chill.
Terastodon - Temur elephant, woo.

Total Power - No. of Creatures Blocking = Net Damage i.e. Deathtouch/TrampleHornet Nest - It wouldn't be my deck without one.
Nin, the Pain Artist - It wouldn't be my RUG deck without one.
Polukranos, World Eater - Because when you have deathtouch...
Acidic Slime - Gettin' in for one like a champ.
Stonebrow, Krosan hero - No other creature works so beautifully with Surrak.
Basilisk Collar - My biggest guy's now really annoying to block.
Bow of Nylea - All my guys except Surrak are now really annoying to block.
Quietus Spike - My biggest guy's now really annoying to block... And you want to.
Rancor - When I have Surrak, it gives him trample, when I don't, I still have a source.
15
Filling in the blanks.Green Sun's Zenith - Because nothing says your deck's brutal like a tutor
Chord of Calling - Except two tutors.
Tooth and Nail - Except Tooth and Nail Entwined.
Guided Passage - Or just showing them the full deck list and they can make an informed judgement.
Scavenging Ooze - My only source of graveyard hate.
Trygon PredatorHuntmaster of the Fells - Surprisingly good when your commander's 5 mana with flash.
Mystic Snake - Can be held up when I want to play Surrak too.
Magmatic Force - Temur use magma elementals too.
Savage Punch - It wouldn't be a Surrak deck without it.
Temur CharmTemur AscendancyDecimate - A four for one seems pretty good to me.
Savage Beating - Savagery at its finest.
Crater's Claws - Spot removal or reach. I like it anyway.
Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
