This deck has been in creation long before Urza was spoiled. Originally, it had Muzzio, Visionary Architect as commander, however, I was not too satisfied with him, so deck was on hold... Until the fatefull day.
Urza was spoiled. I started to tune it right away, considering budget options whenever possible, however, as he is my main now, some indulgences are possible.

The strategy is fairly simple - we beat face. Urza's tokens, Karn's token, and some artifacts in the deck can get ridiculously big, applying extreme pressure on our opponents. Alternative win conditions are aetherflux reservoir storming off into deathstar, and jace, wielder of mysteries once we go infinite and exile our library.

We don't really have established meta in our hobby centre, most players have multiple decks and they tend to bring something random to play all the time. So far all of them were fairly all-righty handled by my surrak dragonclaw stompy and marchesa, the black rose midrange, hence I don't expect anything new to happen. Only issue I face is deathtouch, since atraxa, praetor's voice is the most popular commander in our playgroup and this deck does not have too much spot removal.

Originally I was planning to use 4 Stations line (grinding station sacrifices cheerio, untapping summoning station, tapping it to make Pincher, untapping blasting station, sacrificing it, untapping salvaging station, tapping to bring our cheerio back for infinite combo, but then I realised it will take too much effort to assemble - so KCI, Salvaging station and Flayer Husk are staying. I am very reluctant to use Dramatic Scepter for infinity, since getting Dramatic Reversal without reliable tutor is nigh impossible. If there any cards you might consider to be redundant, feel free to suggest replacements.

And now, the weather.

Ya know, I had never considered that interaction. I'll have to remember that.

You might actually consider Assert Authority here, which while more expensive on paper, is probably the same cost for you 99% of the time and exiles the offending spell.

I really don't think you have enough non-artifact spells to want Inspiring Statuary. Any chance you can find yourself a Mycosynth Golem?

Also I think you could do a lot of silly things with Prototype Portal.

I've been playing around with Inspiring Statuary in a few decks myself, and I'd like to agree there doesn't seem to be a lot in here the Statuary is helping cast. It'll more or less just help you recast Urza, which could possibly be worth it, but I'm not sure it's enough. Here, it's likely a regular mana rock would be better. Maybe Gilded Lotus.
