So the deck has some token making to feed Vish Kal, and some recursion aspects as well. The deck is pretty mana hungry, and on top of that Vish Kal actually costs a lot of mana, so there is a pretty decent land count plus some mana rocks to get you going. Also, I avoided infinite combos, so no Exquisite Blood to go with Vizkopa Guildmage, etc. I also avoided using a lot of tutors as well.

One of my favorite cards in the deck is Tombstone Stairwell. If you have Vish Kal out with it, he will get huge. It also interacts well with Requiem Angel. Good times.

Comments, suggestions appreciated!

Does you count Weathered Wayfarer as a tutor?
I'd rather have him than a 40th land.

The deck is so mana hungry it definitely needs 40 land. But Wayfarer is a good suggestion. I would take out Wayfarer's Bauble for him.

Good call. Wayfarer is great in W/B and W/R decks. Best part is, it can get non-Basics.

I'm potentially stealing Archon of Justice for my Vish Kal deck. I forgot that card was so good.

Instead of Animate Dead, I'd rather have Phyrexian Relcaimation, but maybe that's just me. I've been on a kick about that card lately (Thanks, Joz!).

I don't see a lot of card draw here. I have way more draw in my own VK deck, and I still wind up in top deck mode more often than I'm comfortable with. Do you have that issue?

Phyrexian Reclamation is in the deck, so I have both covered. Animate Dead and Necromancy are both in the deck for Sun Titan shenanigans, especially good when Vish Kal is out. Sac a critter to Vish Kal, attack with Titan, bring it back, repeat! Especially good if an opponent has an Acidic Slime or something similar in the yard.

As for the draw, I find that I'm screwing around with my graveyard so much that I don't usually need much more draw. The only time that I do is when someone wipes out all the yards, but unless Leyline of the Void or Rest in Peace is out, I can usually recover. I'm kind of hosed to those two, but I still have outs.
