I kinda want to work Tezzeret and Jace in here as the deck is themed around Agents of Artifice, but just getting down to these 100 was a real ordeal.

Better counterspells.

Dismiss
Dissipate
Cryptic Command
Hinder
Desertion

Unsummon is really weak in EDH.

Vendilion Clique is good. So is Vedalken Shackles if you're playing mono-blue.

You can probably do without spellbook. It's pretty bad. At least play Library of Lang over it. If you are going to play a deck that goes "my hand size is bigger than 7" you should probably toss in Ivory Tower, because it fits with the strategy, and you can get it with Trinket Mage.

Other stuff off the top of my head:
Patron Wizard
Voidmage Prodigy
Desertion
Skullclamp
Arcane Laboratory
Ertai, Wizard Adept
Erayo, Soratami Ascendant

I'm assuming one of your friends plays Azami as his general.

If not, you have no excuse not to play Azami, Lady of Scrolls. She is the utter nuts.

Also, Fatestitcher from Alara is a wizard that is also a Voltaic Key for permanents. I strongly suggest you play him, he combos well with things like Iso Scepter, Arcanis, and Soul Foundry.

I also notice your deck has very little (read: no) artifact mana accel. You should consider Sol Ring and Mind Stone at the very least, as well as Thran Dynamo and Worn Powerstone. This will help your very mana hungry deck, and these combo well with Fatestitcher.

Thanks guys, trying to work some of those in. So far I changed:
- Journeyer's Kite
- Muddle The Mixture
- Unsummon
- Spellbook
+ Capsize
+ Mind Stone
+ Desertion
+ Library of Leng

Azami is a general, but I might run her just in case he isn't around or something. I want to get Cryptic in but don't have one right now (or the money for one), same with sol ring.

I want to fit in riptide replicator, erayo, ertai, and possibly azami, any recommendations on what I could lose? I am thinking of dropping Door of destinies, but am also looking at power conduit and/or energy chamber for their synergy with door, replicator, darksteel reactor, etc.

I'm not all that sure about skill borrower with no ability to stack your deck.

Also not all that sure about library of leng.

if you're playing with that which was taken - the blue miojin is alot of fun.

your deck is missing graveyard hate / recursion.'

rielto lantern might be a good idea.

academy can be easily broken with piles of cards not sure if you want to do that though.

With your ability to draw lots of cards you could break out dream halls / minds desire.

Alright, went through again and made some changes based on playtesting.

- Drain Power: not really sure why I had it in there
- Skill Borrower: could be good, but too situational
- Door of Destinies: not worth the slot
- Vedalken Engineer: he was just removal fodder
- Sower of Temptation: Theft isn't really my point, more locking them out
+ Riptide Replicator: I'm gonna make blue wizards all day to sac and tap for stuff
+ Sigil Tracer: Pretty good, better with replicator & Soul Foundry
+ Voidmage Prodigy: See Sigil Tracer
+ Extraplanar Lens: Lots of islands, just one more way to double their output
+ Erayo, Soratami Ascendant: Helps shut people down

Trying to decide if Master Transmuter is really worth it. She is definitely good if I can use her to sneak in Darksteel Colossus, Forge, or the Sundering Titan, but it seems like she might sit there not contributing a lot, and she's not a wizard.

It's because of decks like this that I run Fracturing Gust in all my g/w EDH's.

Nice build though, doing something different with the mono blue.

So I'm thinking about removing some of the artifact theme and going more full-on wizards. Here's what I'm thinking might go, and what seems like it should go in

Out:
Sundering Titan (So generic, plus I don't have one)
Darksteel Colossus (same as sundering)
Master Transmuter (if I cut back expensive artifacts, she's less useful)
Staff of Domination
Master of Etherium (I'm kinda stuck with this one, don't know what to do)

In:
Fatestitcher (Lots of things that I wouldn't mind untapping)
Power Conduit (Really good with Replicator, Decree, and Glen Elendra)
Time Spiral (Only thing besides ruins that gets me back my graveyard)
Descendant of Soramaro (really good before Mind's Desire-storm)
Ertai, Wizard Adept (counter-stick)
Sculpting Steel (Copy Isochron, Lotus, Gauntlet, pretty much anything)
Door of Destinies (better with a few more wizards, great with conduit)

Any thoughts on these?

Thanks for all the help guys

Is the flying ability from Student of Elements that significant? It seems rather underwhelming to me. A Wonder in the graveyard does the same thing.

Cut The student. Don't think I'm going to put in Wonder either, my guys can just deal with walking their lazy asses over and smacking people around.

Made a few more changes after playing some games, both duel and multiplayer.

- Master Transmuter (Never did anything with her)
- Staff of Domination (Less than stellar compared to other options)
- Sundering Titan (Their mana doesn't matter, I'm countering everything)
+ Ertai, Wizard Adept (Just one more counter-on-a-stick)
+ Scroll Rack (Pretty self-explanatory)
+ Inkwell Leviathan (tinkered for it turn 3 two times, really really good)

Since your are playing with Extraplanar Lens and Gauntlet of power, you should play with Snow-Covered Islands instead of Islands, so that other players will less likely get the benefits from those artifacts. YEAH, mana flare for only me that's was up. Also if you add Scrying Sheets that could lep you from drawing land during the late game.

That's actually a really good idea with the extraplanar in there (although gauntlet would still help them), but I didn't do it for a couple reasons:
1. Not too many people in my group run blue
2. Most of them run a ton of non-basics
3. It's a casual format so I like using all my foil ravnica and lightning (originally from urza's but mine are 10th) islands
