If you look, Griffin support is actually pretty decent at the least and could make one consider throwing a bunch of Griffins together.

So I took nearly all of them and all 4 support cards for the creature type and made this festering pile of "wut."

Leader of the Flock:
Zuberi, Golden Feather

The Flock:
Abbey Griffin
Armored Griffin
Assault Griffin
Boreal Griffin
Daraja Griffin
Divebomber Griffin
Diving Griffin
Ekundu Griffin
Griffin Rider
Griffin Sentinel
Harrier Griffin
Makindi Griffin
Mirror Entity
Mistmoon Griffin
Mtenda Griffin
Peregrine Griffin
Razorfoot Griffin
Silverclaw Griffin
Spotted Griffin
Teremko Griffin
Unyaro Griffin
Wild Griffin

Cagekeepers (Non-Griffins):
Academy Rector
Adaptive Automaton
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
Emeria Angel
Geist-Honored Monk
Intrepid Hero
Magus of the Moat
Sun Titan
Windborn Muse
Windbrisk Raptor

Come, My Flock:
Elspeth, Knight-Errant

Armored Griffins (Artifacts):
Basilisk Collar
Darksteel Plate
Lightning Greaves
Meekstone
Sol Ring
Swiftfoot Boots

Celestial Crackdown (Enchantments):
Angelic Benediction
Cathars' Crusade
Celestial Mantle
Crackdown
Endless Horizons
Faith's Fetters
Griffin Guide
Honor of the Pure
Kithkin Armor
Mark of Asylum
Marshal's Anthem
True Conviction
Vow of Duty

Controlled Speed Casting (Instants & Sorceries):
Akroma's Vengeance
Crib Swap
Kirtar's Wrath
Path to Exile
Radiant's Judgment
Reprisal
Retribution of the Meek
Solar Tide
Swords to Plowshares
Wrath of God

Flying South (Lands):
Cavern of Souls
Emeria, the Sky Ruin
Griffin Canyon (Oh yes. This card exists.)
High Market
Kor Haven
Maze of Ith
Mouth of Ronom
Reliquary Tower
Scrying Sheets
25 Snow-Covered Plains
Strip Mine
Tectonic Edge
Windbrisk Heights

As you can see, there's kind of a theme going on here (besides the obvious Griffin one). The idea is to get griffins or big beats out there and pump them up (Enchantments, Elesh Norn, Zuberi, etc). And whenever I can't pump them up or overpower the threats on the board, I either wipe them out or prevent them from attacking. The deck flows surprisingly well despite how many griffins may appear to be clogging things up. Griffins are nice standalone creatures, and they love Crackdown.

Leave any suggestions or comments below. :3

What's with running Marble Titan? Isn't that going to hit almost all of your dudes (assuming you have your general or any anthem effect on the board, especially)? And I don't see any ways to give them all vigilance.

Also, why use snow lands if you're not running something like Scrying Sheets?

I love the concept, though.

Agree on the Snow lands - Add Scrying Sheets for much needed mono-W card draw. (And Mouth of Ronom for that matter - it wont hurt)

Dont forget Adaptive Automaton as second Griffin Lord.

Too many things that aren't a griffin! I disapprove, but only slightly.

I would approve of these things instead:
Mirror Entity - scared of my griffins now? :D
Changeling Hero - tuck away that griffin you love, gain life

Crib Swap - griffin removal!

Shields of Velis Vel - If you're going to run non-griffins, at least toss this in the deck (secret tech against someone else's tribal too)

Serra's Sanctum - use those enchantments to your benefit!

Marble Titan is basically just Meekstone on legs, which is also in this deck. Just some lockdown in case my Griffins aren't enough.

Yup, forgot the Automaton. Thanks for pointing that out. :D

Scrying Sheets and Mouth of Ronom added. Up until now, the snow lands were almost exclusively for Boreal Griffin. Just 'cause.

Mirror Entity and Shields are good in here. I don't know about the Hero or the Sanctum. I'll also see if I can fit Crib Swap in too. Love that card.

What about Gilda? Should I put her in too?

I didn't see the Meekstone. I'd suggest cutting that too unless you give your dudes vigilance (which wouldn't be a bad strategy).

Note that Reconnaissance, as long as it doesn't get errata'd, gives you the ability to pull all your creatures back from combat during the end of combat step, and deal no further damage ... which of course doesn't matter at that point (so, effectively, they all get vigilance). Even better, they can do their first strike damage and then retreat from combat before getting hit.

Still works. The creatures are considered attacking until combat is over.

That's a very clever, sneaky way to grant Vigilance.

Though I'd rather just cast Serra's Blessing and be done with it. =P

Extraplanar Lens is always a nice addition to a deck that runs snow. Cheap, one-sided mana ramp would help you hit your higher cmc's sooner, as well as net you more bang from your Marshal's Anthem and Mirror Entity.

I am pretty sure it wasn't *intended* to work that way, though. Hence the original reminder text about not dealing or receiving damage.

Recon allows you to save a creature that may have otherwise died in combat via an opponent trick like Giant Growth / Virulent Strike, etc.

Note that Reconnaissance also works very well with Windbrisk Heights. You can attack into any number of dangerous blockers and not have to worry about it. As far as any discussion of the card's intended functionality, note that you can still prevent combat damage this way if you do it before that step, so the reminder text still applies. The card works much more intuitively now that combat damage no longer uses the stack.

Door of Destinies wants to help those Griffins too.
