Here is a better build of my deck. I think that this runs better and hits hard in the right ways. I think that a refined interaction of cards would be good, but I am still testing.

The point of this deck is to play cards that I don't usually play in my EDH decks, but that I always want to include for one reason or another. The primary mechanic for the deck is Pandemonium + any creature, but secondarily is Mana Ramp + Fireball-esque effects. Anything that I have forgotten or that is just sub-optimal?

Should I include Woodfall Primus and/or Acidic Slime?

I took fireball out of my decks when I finally read the "divided evenly" part of the card.
I'd suggest even rolling thunder as worth the one extra red it costs, but there's probably superior choices. Comet Storm, maybe? Unless you just want to play fireball to play fireball, dammit.

Maybe consider hurricane or squall line?

Quick search for X cards:
Chord of Calling is probably one of those played a lot cards.
Strength of the Tajuru looks fun but is probably silly.
Outmaneuver ditto, but still, hilarity?

Really, you don't seem to have a lot of cards that benefit from your general. You may not need a lot, but the severe lack of Xs in your cards' mana costs makes me sad. ^_^

Banefire, Genesis Weave, Green Sun's Zenith are all pretty awesome. Riptide Replicator may not be bad either.

Put that general to work! More X spells! Also, in deck with almost no flyers that wants X-costs, how could you be not running Silklash Spider?

I was debating changing my general for this deck to Ulasht, the Hate Seed, and I think that Feral Hydra seems particularly good.

I guess the question is do I focus on Rosheen's X generator or just go for the Pandemonium-like effects with Sneak Attack big hitters. Riptide Replicator seems strong either way.

Rosheen and X costs seem more interesting, to me, but I'm not sure they're the stronger choice? And what's more interesting to you of course may differ. And it seems like you've built a pandemonium deck, and not an X-card deck.

Verdeloth the Ancient, also.

How would, say, Unwilling Recruit work with Warstorm Surge? Is it already on the battlefield, so nothing happens? (And, seriously, unwilling recruit is just fun, no matter what general you have. One less blocker, +creature damage, +X damage)

Magus of the Candelabra?
Arashi, the Sky Asunder?

Apocalypse Hydra? No evasion, but efficient damage?
Firecat Blitz is a hydra in pieces. With kamikaze flashback, even.

Ooze Garden seems great with pandemonium effects. Pay 2, double the pandemonium damage? Especially with sneak attack and creatures that live one round.

Really, it seems like you could find enough creatures with Xish costs to satisfy the X and pandemonium parts of your deck. Whether you want to play them is another matter.

You know, when I started putting this deck together, I designed it to be a Pandemonium deck, but I think that you may be right that an X deck might be more interesting.

I'm on the fence with Verdeloth the Ancient. On one hand, okay. On the other, I'd like him a lot better if I felt that I would get more than just Rosheen's 4 for his X (not that 8 damage is bad).

I like Wurmcoil Engine more. Something like Feed the Pack seems really good, but the saprolings are tokens. Now, Wurmcoil + Feed the Pack seems really good, but we are missing our X theme. Maybe Goblin Bombardment, Greater Gargadon,
Greater Good, Perilous Forays, or Shivan Harvest.

Now, Apocalypse Hydra should definitely be added. Looks like this deck is going to change significantly.
