Recently I got my hands on a Karmic Guide - and rereading all the Commander-legends I came upon Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter who - next to being a nice removal and a heavyweight in battle - provides part two of the combo: the sac outlet.

Part three is of course Reveillark and the final piece can be anything - depending on what you wish to do:
Priest of Gix for an arbitrary amount of (black) mana
Wall of Omens or Solemn Simulacrum for drawing any number of cards (and searching lands)
Inquisitor Exarch to gain huge amounts of life (or outright kill all opponents, but honestly...)
Triskelion to kill all other creatures (and players)

Oh yeah, and Mr Vish will also gladly step (fly) into the red zone for general damage...

Enough talking, here's my decklist:
Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter

//tutor, draw and recycle
Beseech the Queen
Buried Alive
Crucible of Worlds
Debtors' Knell
Demonic Tutor
Diabolic Tutor
Grim Discovery
Journeyer's Kite
Karmic Guide
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
Living Death
Mimic Vat
Phyrexian Arena
Sensei's Divining Top
Solemn Simulacrum
Steelshaper's Gift
Stonehewer Giant
Sun Titan
Syphon Mind
Wall of Omens
Weathered Wayfarer

//remove obstacles
Angel of Despair
Argentum Armor
Austere Command
Diabolic Edict
Oblivion Ring
Oblivion Stone
Path to Exile
Return to Dust
Strip Mine
Swords to Plowshares
Syphon Flesh
Umezawa's Jitte
Wing Shards
Wrath of God

//just because
Ajani's Pridemate
Carrion Feeder
Dark Depths
Grave Titan
Inquisitor Exarch
Lightning Greaves
Loxodon Warhammer
Mirran Crusader
Mirror Entity
Priest of Gix
Serra Ascendent
Suture Priest
Swiftfoot Boots
Vampire Hexmage
Vampire Nighthawk

//mana only
Cabal Coffers
Command Tower
Darksteel Ingot
Fetid Heath
Godless Shrine
Orzhov Basilica
Orzhov Signet
Snow-Covered Plains (14)
Snow-Covered Swamp (14)
Sol Ring
Temple of the false God
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

 Statistics and a linked decklist

Oh yeah, Hexmage/Depths is in there just because I can.

My first testing was successful - I almost won after a 3 player, 3 hour game... I didn't because our LGS closed one round before I could win... WITHOUT(!) any combo.

I'd appreciate any advice on what to improve - but please don't focus on the combo too much.

If your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

too many, and always changing... except:

Rakdos, Lord of Riots (Demon Tribal)
Melek, Izzet Paragon (Dragonstorm) -> these must stay because of a house rule

IMHO, you seem to have most of the best cards in those two colours, good job! 8)

I would cut Mirran Crusader, that card seems to be a bit off in this list, you are gunning for lategame anyway... or the combo (seriously, more Reveillark decks please? ). He is irrelevant in both cases.

I think your general likes tokens. So does Mirror Entity (nice synergy with general btw - pump them, then eat them  ). Grave titan is a great step in that direction.

Have you considered Sanguine Bond? You have enough life gain to support it (or add Beacon of Immortality for another combo).

Sword of Light and Shadow is nice, you have a few evasive beaters and a way to tutor for it.

Necrotic Sliver in combination with the above has won me a few games alone :) . I am almost sure it works in a nasty way with Reveillark too...

Kudos on putting Priest of Gix to work... oh the memories of Monoblack aggro :). I thought it did not fit anywhere else and you have proven me wrong (I still hate Reveillark).

Krovikan Horror is also an excellent sacrifice outlet, but you don't seem to be in need of any more of those.

My decks:
Nath of the Gilt-Leaf - BG Enchantress a.k.a. Group Anti-Hug pile of ill goodness.

Intet, the Dreamer RUG Manaramp a.k.a. the Lucid Dreamer

Tariel, Reckoner of Souls RWB Sneaky Blinks a.k.a. oops, I accidentally put an infinite combo in my deck.
