My Grixmas gift arrived today. I opened the package to find a 'Built From Scratch' Commander box (clever). Inside was a note and some wrapped packages.

I had forgotten how damage doublers and Spitemares work. Thanks for reminding me! *cackle cackle*

Goblin Diplomats! How did I not know this was a thing...

Indeed!

ImageHey! Stop that!

Image*Sigh* Close enough.

There was also an Ixalan treasures pack!

Since we have a tie, I will use some of the reserved items from Inkeyes' donation to help up the ante on prizes to assist a 4-way split.

Guys! No, wait, seriously. I didn't that good of a job; I should have done much better. I really don't deserve first place in this.

I think it was the Sweldagriff that swung it! :)

The winner's prizes have been sent. Once they are received, that will conclude Grixmas 2017.

Thank you all for participating, I hope it was fun and exciting. Recruit for next year (for these great forums *and* Grixmas) - lets set a goal for at least 20 participants in Grixmas 2018.

Thank you. :'D I had a lot of fun making kirkusjones's present and didn't realise there was a voting thing afterwards, so that came as a nice surprise.

All prize packages have been received (even if the recipients are too greedy to even share images of their winnings).

Grixmas 2017 season is complete. Stay tuned for next year.

To quote myself:
Segrus wrote:
3) Any legendary creature you want to see a budget deck version of (so far I've done something for Zur, Animar, Dralnu, Brago, Marath, and Azami--definitely don't do any of those). Budget, for me, means around the $50 mark while retaining the aim of going as low as possible while still being functional and interactive.

I was given Taigam, Ojutai Master, and I promised to try to make a budget deck for him. Well...I've done it. It absolutely wasn't fair of me to take this long, but lots of things came up in my personal life which completely deteriorated my desire or willpower to play Magic and build new decks. I'd set aside a bunch of cards though, long time ago, and just today put something together. I don't know if it'll do good. I don't know if the deck will be interesting in the slightest. But it's about the only start I have. It might be that tomorrow I disappear for awhile again--I don't know.

Seriously, all of you, Grixmas is still one of the more fun things for me. I really, really hope it continues. I'll post the deck here soon.
