So just thinking about under utilized bombs. A friend whipped out an old card and we wrecking tables with it, Backdraft, someone would Blasphemous Act, or Hurricane, or one of the many other variants and get whacked upside the head for more damage than they could deal with.

What are the under utilized cards you see in your groups and games?

Backdraft is awesome.

Phyrexian Splicer has certainly earned me a few weird looks.

Ditto Baton of Morale and Nature's Blessing (especially when they finally realize the Blessing is not EOT).

Harsh Mercy can be a monster if you build for it (most people don't)

I'm the only one I've ever seen running Reset.

Last Stand + Urborg 2.0 = tech :)

I find that not many people expect to see pingers like Razorfin Hunter in EDH. Ditto for Pestilence. Those things just keep throwing wrenches into the gears.

Especially with Death Pits of Rath... I have a whole deck based around that.

While it returns creatures to their owners battlefield, Tawnos's Coffin can temporarily deal with any creature for 3 mana

Phyrexian Purge and Fire Covenant have also done significant work at tables I've been at.

I used to run him in Nin, but eventually he got replaced with Shared Animosity, which is faster and more reliable. But he did get his moments, probably the greatest of which was the time when I lent the deck to a friend and he got an army of nineteen Goblins, Márton and Nin all in play at the same time, then attacked two players, killing one opponent with the Gobos and Marty and the other one with a 21/21 Nin. I think I'm never gonna see my head nurse this mad again...

I think you mean it can permanently deal with any token and/or save your creature from any sort of wrath (including All is Dust) for only 3 mana. Also, let's not overlook the ETB/LTB shenanigans you can do with this - even in decks without the right colors for blink effects.

I've been getting good mileage out of Hellfire in my decks that are heavy on black creatures. It is one of the cheapest one-sided wraths.

I approve of the spirit of this thread, but I'm not sure I would call something like Backdraft a bomb. Sure, it can be a blowout (I wouldn't dare call it a poor card; it isn't, I think it's a good card), but for me a bomb will turn around a game on it's own. That's nitpicking though. I love article series like the Multiplayer Hall of Fame or Retiring The Most Underused Cards Of All Time. It sure feels as if there's a lot of overlap between those series (new card bias and all that), and I think EDH has given a second chance for a lot of "underused" cards. I mean, I wouldn't call Attrition underused in EDH. But when I look at a card like Spreading Plague, I wonder why I'm not running it in Glissa (short answer: it's not an artifact). Foster should be really good in that deck as well.

Spreading Plague + Distorting Lens would be pretty cute.

Spreading Plague is actually pretty brutal in Mogis. One of these days I will finally put together Mogis "Enchantress" and proceed to crush with it.
